Conservative Manifesto 2015 Commitment to end 15-year-rule for Overseas Voters

Here at least is a clear commitment to end the 15 year rule on overseas voters in the Conservative Party Manifesto 2015:

“We will complete the electoral register, by working to include more of the five million Britons who live abroad. We will introduce votes for life, scrapping the rule that bars British citizens who have lived abroad for more than 15 years from voting”

The Commitment paragraph ” We will protect our electoral system, to safeguard our democracy” on page 49 of the Conservative Manifesto 2015 below, refers:
