Registration of British Citizens Abroad – House of Lords Briefing, 26th November, 2014

“During the Electoral Commission’s campaign for overseas voters before the UK parliamentary elections in 2010, just over 40,000 overseas voter registration forms were downloaded from its website.

For the elections in May 2015, the Electoral Commission has set itself a stretching target of 100,000 new registrations via the new on-line system  from British citizens living abroad.”
