EU’s Great Unsung Success Story

With little real debate appearing in the British media on the forthcoming European elections, the latter with usually a very poor turnout by voters in the UK, the article below from “British Influence: The Campaign to Keep Britain in the EU” presents the great but unsung success story of the European Union:

If you have already registered to vote in the UK’s European elections, make sure that you also exercise that right to vote and support the Electoral Commission’s drive to improve overall British overseas voter turnout rates.

A significant improvement in the national registration and voting rates of British citizens living abroad would add force to our campaign to remove the arbitrary 15-year-limit on our voting rights.
