British Expats Out-Voted by French Counterparts.

The link below shows that over 40% of French overseas citizens voted out of more than one million registered in the recent French Presidential Elections of 2012.

The UK then compares very badly with only some 30,000 British overseas citizens registered to vote at the last General Election in 2010.

This is a reflection of the French overseas citizen retaining full voting rights and, therefore, being seriously canvassed by the competing candidates and their political parties.
